MASIRAH OIL LTD-PRESS RELEASE
Muscat, 9 May 2022: Masirah Oil Limited (“MOL”) today announced that gross oil production in April 2022 from the Yumna Field in offshore Block 50 Oman, amounted to an average of 3,178 stock tank barrels per day (stb/d) over 12 days (Full month average: 1,271 stb/d).
Production was halted for 18 days in April 2022 to carry out the planned change-out of the Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU) with upgraded facilities on-board and optimisation of the start-up process of the three production wells following the shutdown.
MOL is the Operator and holds a 100 per cent interest in Block 50 Oman.
