Masirah Oil Ltd management hosted a visit to Duqm for delegates from the Oman Ministry of Energy and Minerals. Masirah Oil Ltd management also met with government officials on Masirah Island and visited three schools there, during which the company gifted 50 remote learning devices to under-privileged school children so that they can do online studies during the Covid-19 pandemic.

During the year, Masirah Oil Ltd conducted a joint emergency drill with local authorities. The objective of the exercise was the protection of crew onboard both the jack-up barge and vessel, as well as hostages in case of terrorism.
Measures were also taken to ensure business continuity and safety of all workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

To sustain the high readiness of the Maritime Security Centre in carrying out its national tasks and duties, the centre carried out a Martime Security Exercise with the participation of a number of military, security and civil authorities, and in cooperation with Masirah Oil Ltd.
